This is the Game Dev Kit requirements document. It was issued July 1st of this year. It still lists s/x requirements for all games.

Nevertheless, they've ignored that on e.g. Baldur's Gate 3.

No, they did not.

Xbox release was delayed by three months because it had to work on both the X and the S at release.

It was released for PC on the 3rd of August 2023, PS% was 6th of September 2023, and MacOS on the 22nd of September 2023.

They dropped the split-screen mode from the Series S version.

…we tentatively believe based on our sources to include at least both a traditional-style successor to the Xbox Series X, and Microsoft's first real foray into Xbox handheld gaming with its own take on the Steam Deck.

Looking like Square finally got off its ass and ported the Final Fantasy pixel remaster games. This lines up with an insider claiming Square has this, and a port of FF16 ready to go for TGS.

Would be the only place as of now where you could play the entire mainline final fantasy series minus 11 obviously.

Confirmed: FF1 through 6 drop on Xbox today along with the rest of the Mana series that isn't Secret Of for some reason.

Mana stuff on game pass, Final Fantasy unfortunately is not.

I do love how here each game goes for 20 bucks separately....except for Final Fantasy 2. 12.99 cuz that shit is ass

Any under the radar FPS game you guys would recommend? Preferably Gamepass, or prices-slashed kind of game

Under the radar for me meaning not Halo, Battlefield, or COD.

"High on Life" was a fun and funny FPS. If you're even a little bit of a fan of Rick & Morty it's of the same ilk while not being based on the show. The gun you use is a character of its own which was a cool concept.

Black Ops 6 is available for pre-install. BEWARE not to download all but choose what parts you want. You need only the main Call Of Duty (hub?), BO 6 campaign, BO6 multiplayer and the BO6 extra content. 86,07 Gigs is the file size of the first 3.
