Apparently Indiana Jones is an Nvidia sponsored title and will feature path tracing on PC. I had almost zero interest in the game before but now I will probably check it out on Game Pass lol. Hopefully the tech makes it into the new Doom game as well.

Starfield really shouldve been an Nvidia sponsored title, that game would've benefitted so much visually from RT.

Corden discusses how the alpha gameplay footage of Fable contains elements reminiscent of “CD Projekt Red DNA.” He explains that Playground Games has hired several developers from CD Projekt Red, including a combat designer.

From the combat footage, he can identify where the inspiration originates. While the gameplay isn’t an exact replica of The Witcher, it features similar mechanics. Furthermore, the footage looks “super polished” for an alpha build.

Moreover, Corden revealed that Fable’s alpha gameplay footage showcased various weapon types, including bows and arrows, spells, and melee weapons—similar to those used by Geralt. He also discusses the design of certain enemy types, featuring comedic and frightening elements for chickens and werewolves. Overall, he felt that the gameplay looked impressive, and the combat was “very tight” for an alpha build.

Would like to see something instead of just reading hype. The combat is probably the weakest part of TW3 so that’s an interesting design choice.

Would love for this game to be a smash hit. Playing the Fable series was a ton of fun when I was younger

Other previews also out, very positive.

Another Reddit game. It’s all so tiresome.

Huh? Is that line supposed to be offensive or untrue somehow?
It’s not that I disagree with it, it’s that it looks like another game that’s gonna be repeating the same cringe Reddit tier political opinions verbatim like it’s the first time anyone’s heard it. It’s like how the entire last season of The Boys became about reproductive rights. Regardless of what you think of the issue, it made the show less compelling and more cringe.

Honestly when I found out this game was going to be first person, I was excited because it wouldn’t just copy uncharted and have a bunch of boring climbing sections. Then it turns out it has those climbing sections anyway. There’s just no interesting creative energy coming off this game sadly.

It's a game where you fight Nazis, from the makers of the Wolfenstein games. I don't see how commentary on fascism and manipulating people are out of place.

The Boys became about reproductive rights. Regardless of what you think of the issue, it made the show less compelling and more cringe.

The issue I had with The Boys wasn't that it became political, I think early on it's political commentary was a strength. The issue I had was it started to become a bit too specific about it's real-world inspirations and tried to tackle too many issues at a time.

In the first couple seasons it was clear enough who Homelander was inspired by and what parallels could be made to current and past events. It lampooning the current crop of super hero media on top of that was plenty to work with, it didn't need more.

But as the show grew, they dipped their toes into a growing list of mostly modern day issues and the writing became clumsier at the same time. It almost feels like they want to emulate something like The Wire, where the show would take on a different set of issues each season. But one reason that worked so well in The Wire is they'd introduce a whole new cast of characters to do so, they weren't afraid to move to a new location with new characters they could use to represent the seasons themes. The Boys insists on using the same core cast of characters to tackle every issue and it feels unnatural.

In The Boys you end up with kind of a muddy mess of characters and organizations that represent too many things at once.

Insecure females are not easy to manipulate? Only males? Women didn’t support the Nazi party in WW2? Come on I’m trying not to get political here but it’s very obvious the vibe this dialogue is giving off. My spidey sense are off the charts.

Edit:

And I just remembered there’s a female playable character in this. I couldn’t care less about Indiana jones never really latched onto but I feel for Indy fans and what’s about to happen to their boy. Marvel Spider-Man 2 all over again.
