What a disaster. Silver lining is that its better to lose here than in the SB.
Also Washington will get creamed by the Eagles next week.

Disappointing end to the year but life goes on. It's hard for me to feel shitty with how much they overcame this year.

You also can't turn the ball over that much and expect to win. Not with the issues we have.

What a waste of a monumental opportunity. Even with a healthy defense next year, they likely lose one or even both of their coordinators, and who knows how the deck gets reshuffled with the 31 other teams.

Had both teams played their best game, it would've been a lot easier to live with a loss. But both sides of the ball screwed the pooch.

I'll take health over anything.

Ask any former NFL player and they'll tell you the biggest advantage going into the playoffs is health.

Detroit did not have it whatsoever this year. To the point fans were huffing hopium about Hutchinson returning not too long after snapping his damn leg.

Everyone is piling on Goff, but the fact is the Lion's receiving corps really isn't that great. Outside of St Brown and LaPorta their receivers are average at best. A position that needs to be addressed in the off-season.

Unless your name is Jahmyr Gibbs, you have a lot of self-reflecting to do on how shitty you played last night. That's from coaches down to the 53rd man on the roster.

The attrition on defense was always going to make it nearly impossible to win the whole thing, but to beat yourself because you played like a bunch of bums, that's what makes it an unacceptable performance. I'd be embarrassed to perform the way the Lions did last night

It's true though. Would you rather have the Lions legacy or the legacy of the Bills or Vikings?
Those two are the laughing stock of the league.
I would rather get to the Super Bowl than not get there.

Kudos to AG for keeping the patchwork defense going as long as he did. Unfortunately, the wheels fell off against a mobile QB which was already a known weakness. Shortcomings on defense were always saved by Goff and Co. stepping up and Goff had a stinker of a game.

Gibbs is magical.

I am not as optimistic as I was after leaving the NFC Championship in Santa Clara last year but Lions will be a contender again. Hoping injuries are minimal next year. Lions must have set an injury record this year. Big moment for MC/DC and having to potentially replace AG and Johnson. Sounds like AG is a lock for the Jets or Saints job.
