Not what I meant!

Lines in practice were:
Kerfoot Tavares Nylander
Knies ROR Acciari

Swap Nylander and Acciari, and you get:

Knies ROR Nylander
Kerfoot Tavares Acciari

If some people, including Keefe, want to pretend JT is the 2C, who cares?

Might be one of the worst againg posts I've seen on this site, ever. And that includes Sens fans saying Cam Talbot is good.

Same comments when Kadri was suspended as a Leaf. All of a sudden the Leafs were soft and had no heart… Bunting’s had his ups and downs but annoys the shit out of other teams and can produce in the top 6.

Wishing him away is history repeating himself. That being said I’d have to see his cost before re-signing.
2 Completely different scenarios.

When Kadri did it, we had little to no depth at C at the time and he was 1 of the only players in the lineup who had jam.

We have guys now who can replace Bunting.

I just ran some numbers on CapFriendly and we can ice a 23 man roster with Bunting at 3 and ROR at 6 with over 1M in cap space pretty easily. While retaining Acciari (1.5), Kampf (1.5), Schenn (1.2), Samsonov (4). We are actually in a good spot. Oh I forgot to add we dumped Murray and a pick for "futures"

Not saying Bunting should get 3 from us but if we want him back it shouldn't be an issue keeping him and ROR.

Only issue I see is our left side D. Little worried about Gio and McCabe has been known to miss large stretches.

I'm not even bothered Bunting's out... but it's just disturbing/comical how inconsistent both DOPS, and officiating is. It's bush league. Two nights ago... Mayfield being high sticked for the game winner, and Staal getting elbowed... in what world shouldn't those be penalties at minimum... and I don't care about either team at all... it's just.... bush league.

I get it on Bunting too... he's sold so many penalties, that in some ways he's made the officials look silly at times... but, that's part of the game, and most certainly they shouldn't be looking for opportunities to extract revenge on players.
and Perry is like a combination bobblehead attached to a Weeble (except he does fall down) whenever anyone gets close to or touches him. ...for the younger ones, you''ll need to google what a weeble is, and maybe listen to their jingle to understand

So when Bunting got buried head first into the boards, it's a 2min for whatever, who cares too bad so sad. While the hit was from behind and the cross check made Buntings head drop and so the crown of his helmet went directly at the boards, doesn't make a difference that it was all things considered a premeditated head shot, crickets from the league.

What should have happened is 5-10 and a game for Cernak, but no just a 2 minute minor, which created the situation and framed Buntings suspension. Like the Fixx said, "one thing leads to another!"

For all of the folks who absolve the officiating at every turn, what do you call the treatment Bunting has been receiving from the on ice officials for the past month. They created an open season on him for anyone who cared to take a shot.

NHL officiating is biased and always has been, there are calls ignored there are calls made that kill momentum, see the call on Kampf for proof. The Leafs were climbing back into the game and the officials quite simply said "oh no you don't."

Kris Versteeg was on the Fan 590 Wed morning. Said that Keefe should put Bunting on the 4th line if he were to return (paraphrasing)

Do any of you agree with that?
I'd play him over Kerfoot. I don't think Kerfoot has a proper role on any line whereas ZAR has a defined role and Bunting is just better than Kerfoot in the role he's in right now.

In a vacuum I would agree with you, but this MGMT group is hanging on to their jobs for dear life. Do you really have Bunting back in the top 6 with his antics, etc.?

I guess we see how the next 2 games go. But I would put him in the top 6 before I'd put him on the 4th line.

I’ve been saying this for a while now. I think Kerfoot, to a certain degree has played himself out of a typical NHL lineup.

He's not skilled enough to be in the top 6 and he’s not gritty enough to be in the bottom 6.

He tries his heart out though, I will give him that.

can someone explain why Nosek didn't even receive a fine for his elbow to Staal's head? Lomberg almost choked someone out on Boston and didn't even get a call from DoPs. what the hell?

Play on
No continuity or bias?

I hear Bunting got 3 more games for Noesek's elbow on Staal...

Kerfoot will find a new life in Edmonton or Vancouver... for 7 million a year... ;)

If he had a better shot he would be okay, he can't finish to save his life.

No idea , I've been asking the same question. Some Twitter posters are saying it was a Butt End and not an elbow but still 1:44 left in the game and dude is throwing elbows/butt ends when the score is 6-2, no one is expecting dirty play like that. The game was over.

a Butt end to the head is still at least a fine...I thought everyone said the DOPS was setting a precedent where are all of those hockey fans now?

Lomberg almost choked out Frderick how the f*** did DOPS not even make a call for that?

I think ROR is a mercenary and will go to the highest bidder this summer. Hopefully with another ring.

What kind of offers do you think he's going to get? I'm sure we wont be offering him the term with the number others will though you're probably right.

Lomberg is quickly getting reputation for being a RAT. I noticed him this year when we played vs him, he was very Bunting-like. TBH he was chokign out a Bruin so I really didn't mind that :)

People tell me that the Bruins don't get favoritism but some how a team with the roster of a lottery team can win 65 games and not get suspension when the actions are on video from 65 different angles.
