Michael Bunting kicks Trent Frederic with his skate. Intentional or lost balance?

Looks like he’s hitting him with his thigh, on the back of Marners quad. Not even close to the same as a toe kick.
I’m sure you’d even agree with that.

Does every post have to be ya but, did you see this video, try having an opinion for once on the subject without the ya buts.
I see that as him kicking Marner and is no different than the kick Bunting did on Frederic.

No more shocking than you are downplaying the same thing happening to Marner, because he plays for the Maple Leafs.
Lmao ok

Is it not his thigh hitting Marners quad.
From his knee down, is in the air not touching anything.

If you can’t see that, then carry on with the whataboutisms.

Both kicks by Kucherov and Bunting are still dangerous and you downplaying what Kucherov did doesn't make his kick look any better.

If you think Bunting was wrong the same logic should apply to Kucherov. You don't want to do that because Marner plays for Toronto.

What about the question
Thigh on quad?

Two things can be dangerous and different at the same time..

This is often the argument on the main boards with some fans. They insist that completely different things are basically "no different" and they must be punished exactly the same way....

You have a bad habit of comparing things the Leafs got away with to previous actions of other teams that are not even close to the same. No wonder you are constantly whining about the refs when you say ‘it’s the exact same play’ when clearly everyone else sees that the two plays are completely different.

I guess the Leafs hate you have is clouding your vision where you don't see Kucherov kicking Marner, however you clearly see Bunting kicking Frederic.

If Bunting had attempted the exact same kick as you Kucherov, I'm sure you would have no problem saying what a dirty play that was.

Totally different plays. Take off the blue and white homer goggles once in a while.

the camera angle I seen it looked like Bunting like tapped him, however no kicking, should have been a penalty. I dont think it's suspension worthy but fineable

I honestly want to know why you are okay with an attempted kick by Kucherov, however on Bunting's attempted kick you and the other Leafs haters wanted him suspended.

If your so against what Bunting did maybe you should feel the same about Kucherov.

Obviously everyone knows not every play is EXACTLY the same down to the minute detail. Like obviously. Hockey is a very very nuanced sport.

Point is @Golden_Jet said the Refs were favouring the leafs again because Bunting should have been suspended. Yet here we have Kuch who also could have been suspended for his kick on Marner but didn't as well. So, in the end, the notion the refs are favouring the Leafs is a comical one cause there's examples that prove otherwise. That's why there's comparisons like this.

With the history of Leafs players suspended since George Parros has taken over, you would think that's proof enough how their players are not getting any favoring from the Department of Player Safety. Just because Bunting was not suspended doesn't change the past.

Though I will say this year looks and feel different. We are finally getting more outcomes going our way than not which I'm ecstatic to admit cause this hasn't been the norm since the like Sundin era. Hopefully it continues.

The only suspension so far this season that the Leafs got was that 1 game to Pierre Engvall when his stick hit Sean Durzi in the head, which all Leafs fans said was the correct call and knew right away after it happened that a suspension would be coming.

Its an intentional kick. Wimp like, but still a kick.

Bunting - in running for the pretend tough guy award if they had one.

In fairness Marchand was 28 before he had a season that topped Bunting's rookie campaign.

:sarcasm:
The end of Marchand's rookie campaign . . .
