I'm aghasted of these memes. A man almost died, and only barely survived for a photo-op missing only the "Born in the U.S.A." playing on its background.

I was honestly surprised at how fast the memes came about. Like 10 minutes after the shooting, there were jokes about how the shooter was Zibanejad missing the open net.

It's not a commonly known fact that besides the crisis actors, the alphabet agencies also employ crisis memesters.
Hockey is an international sport, so for non-USA readers: there is a segment of the US population that thinks that nothing ever happens, and when things "happen" it's a grand conspiracy of the FBI, CIA, NSA, NTSB, ATF, FAA, IRA, etc, that all parties involved are in on it, anyone (bystanders) involved is getting a pay check, and it's all to achieve a yet unknown objective that hasn't yet come true, but will. Essentially, future-proofing an a-priori conclussion that has been long tantalized amongst the view holders.

Many prominent people have been brought to financial ruin in civil court by suggesting such things. Not by virtue of claiming them (and being wrong), but by predictably not providing a shred of evidence (because they're wrong).

When you encounter strange or outlandish claims, simply asking for evidence aught to dissolve any confusion you might have.
