It's time!!!
NY Rangers 1992-93 Intro video:
mods: can someone embed this.... link is from my mobile and YT is blocked at my job. Thanks!
Brings back so many memories watching that. Those intros will always be the best.
Time to outclass the classless! Let's go good guys!
It's time!!!
For the over 30 crowd.
My Lord, Trautwig has been with us forever....and he's an Islander fan from what I understand.
Steve Zipay@stevezipay56m
Miller, Falk, Diaz were last ones on ice, so scratched
Why no Diaz?
Because John Moore can throw down if needed, I'm guessing.
I sure hope thats NOT the reason.
A better reason would be that the right side is clogged up with Girardi, Stralman, and Klein

Every time the Rangers ask me in a survey how to make the game experience better, I tell them to bring back this soundtrack. It's a little dated, but it was so good.
IIRC, it was done by the guy who did the music on the Price Is Right of all things, lol.
Love what im hearing from Berube. Lets change our systems in the opening game of the playoffs because of one player on the other team, despite going 2-2 against them all season. Might be some gamesmanship on his part but it doesnt matter, AV wont change a thing.
The Flyers sound like they are playing the Rangers and not letting the Rangers play them. I've always felt that making conscious decisions of how to play against a certain team and over matching is sending a message to your team that you aren't confident. When you focus on the other team too much you lose sight of your strengths as a unit and it could bite you in the ass. Could be a rookie coaching mistake at this level.
We'll see. I dont think Berube is a bad coach, but i question his approach here - especially when it seems like its a major focus going into the series with both the coach and players having no problems talking about it openly with the media.
You sure about that? Last year, the Rangers won 10 of the last 14 games. This year, the Rangers won 9 of their last 14 games. Seems fairly similar to me.I'm pretty sure we were a bubble team leading up all the way to the end. Barely beat Carolina. There was not this amount of excitement. Definitely a lot more "who knows, if Henrik stands on his head he could steal us 16 games...".
This year, different story.
Agreed. However, in the end, that is what the playoffs are. A war of attrition. If the Rangers can keep the play in the middle of the ice, they give themselves a better chance. This team should not/can not get into a war of attrition/physicality in this series.
That is one of the biggest factors. Henke has to be at the top of his game, and Nash and St. Louis need to score. The first factor gives me more confidence than the second. Nash needs to raise his level of play to a level he has not seen in the playoffs. MSL needs to start doing the thing that he has not been doing since he was traded for.The biggest question for me is if Rick Nash, Marty and Brad can really show up in a playoff for the Rangers.
Moore over Diaz is dumbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb
Agreed.
NOT.
I don't get the Diaz lovefest.
