Rangers padding the shot total. Tons of harmless shots from the outside. Flyers with far less shots but more dangerous ones.

Rangers were quicker on the puck than the flyers but sloppier in the O Zone.

Even though I greatly appreciate Hags speed/quickness. I find he is a really dumb player especially with his decisions with the puck. I am not exactly sold that Hags will ever be able to work in a puck possession system. Fast, on the other hand, shows a very high IQ.

Rangers are flat. But have no fear...Cause i AM here.... LGR!!!!!!!!!

Was thinking the same thing. Out of all the options he had there he threw a weak ass wrister to the goalie.

Both times he wasn't in position to do anything else. Coburn was coming right at him. Better to just put it on net rather spin-o-rama and give it away.

Period 1:

McDonagh did not look game ready in the first period. He was easily out muscled by Hartnell on the first goal, was shaky keeping the puck in the offensive zone, and had another turnover in the defensive zone that lead to a shot against. Might it have been better to bring him back against MTL to at least get him back in the game? Because this was one of the worst periods I've seen from McDonagh in a long time.

A LOT of shots on Emery, but like usual, most are just awful shot selections. Nash had 3-4 shots, all of which were about as easy as possible to stop (no one is going to score from that far out, on a wrist shot that soft, unless the goaltender is asleep). I'd rather our team look for quality chances than continually lob perimeter shots at Emery hoping he lets in a horrendous goal.

Outside of a few mistakes, we didn't give the Flyers much either. Very defensive period. Shots were misleading, we did not dominate them. We need more quality chances.

Nash Interview Time!

Well, Hags looks better with Richards and Fast. Two extremely intelligent players. It's who he needs to play with. He's just so Pejorative Slured most of the time on the ice. It's kind of a shame because if he had half a brain, he'd be an all star player.

Why are people saying we're so terrible, it's tied and we carried the play most of that period. Not too many great chances but we were the better team and it's tied.

Rangers about to turn it on and pound them Filthy Flyers....LGR!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I really hate that Richards just has no chemistry with anybody. All of Fast and Hag's speed is going to waste.

I liked Richards' skating, thought he was flying out there. To me he was the best of the top-6 this period
