Hopefully Richards doesn't revisit his playoff performance from last year.

“@KatieStrangESPN: #NYR #PHI Both Jesper Fast and Daniel Carcillo taking pre-game warm-ups. This morning, Vigneault said Fast would play instead of Carcillo”

TSN just showed a graphic, Emery is 7-2-0 against us with a 1.80 GAA or something like that. Wonder how many of those were before his injury, though. We beat him once this season already.

every time i see that kenny guy, it makes me think. is he wearing an edgar suit... anyway, LGR!!!

Vigneault, unshaven, says he's growing a playoff beard. That would be a sight to see in June #NYR #ScruffyAV

Ahahahaha.

I will tell you something, I know goalies very well, and judging from Emery's warmup, he looks extremely focused and 'on' tonight.

Same with Hank, so this should be a good one. Like I said, don't automatically underestimate Emery.

What signs do you see in the warmup that can tell you that?

How well they are 'seeing' the puck, efficiency in movements, and making saves look easy during the specific drills.

They showed Emery before, taking lots of very fast shots, and not missing a beat on any of them.

They weren't typical warmup shots either, they were picking corners, and he had every single one of them.

He's ready. I hope we are too.

Isn't the problem his lateral movement? i.e. not straight shots.
