Kreider has the ability to create chaos, similar to guys like Boyle and Dom Moore, but he's faster and obviously much more offensively gifted. His loss has been apparent since Game 1 against the Flyers. It's funny, when we traded for Nash, I envisioned Kreider learning from him, now it's Nash who should be taking pages from Kreider's book.

I just hope we don't see any of those bullspit "2 Min. for being a Power Forward" penalties.

The Age of Nash is upon us, my brethren.

That's ridiculous.

In Game 3 the Rangers had 65% of all shot attempts. But they hit four posts and Fleury stopped 35/35, so the Rangers had no heart in that game. Martin St. Louis' mother was still alive in Game 3.

What happened in Game 4? They looked dead and buried. I think it's pretty much the consensus (even in most of the interviews with the players) that the death gave the team some sort of boost.

I think some of it has to do with rest, but I think the signs are clear that something changed in this team when the incident occurred.

I think it's MSL playing when he didn't have to. He wanted to play that game, it wasn't a contract requirement, no one would have blamed him for leaving; He wanted it. You see what he's done the last 2 games, how can you not be inspired by it?

Ya know, it's like: "Hey if he can go out and dominate like that, [on Mother's Day, no less] what's our excuse not to?".

---

I hope they go out and embarrass the living **** out of the Pens, I hate that ****ing team.

Game 4 was a dud, but I think the Rangers wanted to win Game 4 just as much as Game 5.

Im so scared that they will suck... I hate/love being a rangers fan... we got this far don't let up boys! One more win and we're half way there :yo:

This.
Effort, resiliancy, intestinal fortitude with this group has always been the same. What improved was their execution which then builds more confidence.

It's not ridiculous, its natural. That event was a rallying cry that brought the room together and woke them up.

It can't even be argued, the team the past two games has looked better than ever before.

I'm sure facing elimination had nothing to do with it

The bad news is, it's finals week.

The good news is, the game stress is a cakewalk compared to theoretical inquiry.

So, a good friend of mine, who's a Flyers fan, wants to watch the game with me tonight. Don't worry, I'll dress him up in blue. Plus, I can use some more Pens hate in front of my screen.

Isn't that all HF is?

Tell him to bring some Crab Fries and a ho0o0oagie.

Anyway, I'm gonna go tend to my garden; this **** is stressing me out.

Nash can totally make up for everything tonight with a goal...i mean seriously, all would be forgiven by the fans. I wish he was as mad as Crosby...he'd have a hat trick.

Just hoping for an inspired effort, and a McDonagh sighting. Win or lose, proud that we fought back to get here the way we did, gives me a lot of hope for this team.

I don't buy it either. If they play poorly tonight, does it mean it wore off?

Truth is we can't be sure one way or the other. It's just not definitive cause and effect.
