I don't know how I feel about this game. When I think about it logically in my head, I really do feel like we have a chance to move in. Still, I expect that at some point, inevitably, Rongos gonna Rongo.
Either way I just don't feel there's gonna be much of a middle ground here. Either we're gonna know by the end of the 1st that we're moving on, or it's gonna be one of those games where we can't complete a pass and finish with like 12 shots.
Everything changed when Marty St. Louis' mother died. Unfortunately, it took an event like that to rally the team together and to start play with emotion, intensity and heart.
I really believe that when this team cares, and puts forth the effort, they can compete with anyone and be successful.
I know they will come out to play tonight. All the pressure is on Pittsburgh.
We want this game, and we want it bad.
Even though Mike Francesa doesn't do much hockey, he said something great yesterday…
The rally back from 3-1 to 3-3 with the MSL drama made it a story for a few days, but if they win tonight, this becomes a story forever.
Make history tonight boys.

That's ridiculous.Everything changed when Marty St. Louis' mother died. Unfortunately, it took an event like that to rally the team together and to start play with emotion, intensity and heart.
That's ridiculous.
In Game 3 the Rangers had 65% of all shot attempts. But they hit four posts and Fleury stopped 35/35, so the Rangers had no heart in that game. Martin St. Louis' mother was still alive in Game 3.
If we win today that Will be back to back 82 game seasons where we went to the ECF
It may have had an impact. There's no way of knowing. One happening after the other isn't enough for me.As unfortunate as it is, I have to agree with Nevesis. The team was lifted to another level to rally behind their teammate, who showed incredible courage to come and play game 5. Then on Mother's Day....like..... it did have an impact.
It may have had an impact. There's no way of knowing. One happening after the other isn't enough for me.
But to say they're only playing with intensity and heart because of it is ridiculous.
There is little doubt that the death of Martin St. Louis’ mother has galvanized the Rangers into playing the kind of hockey of which they are capable, and for the first time, really, in the playoffs. - Larry Brooks
The nerves are real right now.![]()
Pitt media saying Tanner Glass may be in tonight, they feel the need to 'counter' some of the liberties they see being taken with Princess Cyndi.
Please no OT. I'll have to be hospitalized if it comes to that.
