Moore appears to be the only guy that can skate the puck up the ice and make a pass on the move. His decision making is not top notch and he can be sketchy defensively but taking him out is not the answer. Going with Diaz over Dorsett and going 7 makes some sense as Klein should not go out either. McDonaugh on the top PP unit has gone past the ridiculous. AV has been patient but he will make a change.

The King still gives the Rangers the edge.
 
I want jt to play center on the 3rd line with Richards on the left wing of the stepan line

Pouliot-brassard-MZA
Hagelin-jt-Nash
Boyle-Moore-Carcillo


-Not on would go to the net on the stepan line but Nash didn't when he was on tht line anyway
-The good brassgod line sticks together because they earned it
-Hagelin and Nash are two great defensive players that could help cover for jt who I think will play better at center. Jt' first two goals in the nhl were with him playing center and he is more comfortable there... ( ppg player in ahl at center, barely scores at right wing in nhl.)
-obviously there is a difference between ahl and nhl scoring but I think playing him at center would also give him some more confidence
-jt is one of our better face off guys (with a lot less of a sample to go off of) but it is still better than Richards face off %

As much as I love our 4th line and 2nd line it really is time for the first line to step up to the plate. Can we really go any deeper without them contributing? I don't think so.

I have to agree. More that the flyer series it's going to come down to the Rangers scoring 3 or more goals a game against this team. I don't see us winning 1-0 or 2-1 games against this pens team. So henrik is gonna have to be superb (2 goals or less per game) and we have to find a way to not get shut out against MAF ugh
 
We need to get someone in front of the net and get pucks through from the point to improve the PP and make it believe it's doing something.

Personally, I tell a certain number 61 that if he doesn't get his ass in front of that net then number 22 is going to take his spot on the power play and do it.
 
I like the fact that AV shows patience and doesn't change line combos every period like torts did but as long as he doesn't breakup the brass line then by all means break up that first line cause they don't look good right now.

Fell asleep during the 2nd intermission or 3rd period. Hank was a tank. We'll need him again. Offensive display was offensive to say the least.

This is the most important game so far!

Well part of it is I don't wanna hear about that game and part of it is I've just been waiting to use that face in a thread :laugh:
