Despite our horrid power-play, shutting out the Pens this period was a win; the penalties -- though killed -- more than cancelled out the momentum with which the team came out. Now let's score some goals.

That was just awful hockey to watch. Hopefully the Pens blew their load in the 1st and we can come out playing some good 5 on 5 with no PPs. I'm sure it's been covered in here already about how PATHETIC our PP is.

Did anyone ever think that a power-play could be twice as bad as when Torts coached?

There is no one on the team who can gain the zone by himself. That was always one of my favorite attributes of Kovalev.
