Esposito at one point had 346 in 190 which is actually slightly higher per game than Connor. Not sure about 200 or 209 games exactly, as I didnt check dates. I just went with full RS and/or Playoffs.

I don't think anyone else beats him (aside from Wayne/Mario of course). I checked Yzerman, Bossy, Howe, Jagr, Kucherov, and a few others with notable single seasons.

The years bobby orr was scoring 120-140 points in like 77 games each as a dman. I think one year he won the scoring race by like 21 points. Gotta have those up there given position.

coincidentally, in his last 227 games as a bruin, bobby orr scored exactly 376 pts… as a defenceman. he was also +229.

and even weirder is in the three seasons prior to that, he also scored exactly 376 pts, in 230 games. and he was even more dominant in that stretch, with a ridiculous +261 (and three harts and two conn smythes)
