So you just ignored a good 20 seconds of the video or didn't bother to watch past the 10 second mark. Garland grabs McDavid's arm and pulls him down and continues to hold on to it for six seconds clear as day. Why are Canucks fans trolling like this, Gazdik is right.

Well Oilers are 10pts up on Calgary and 11 up the canucks (who are a non playoff team as of today)--so he and the oilers have a bit of a cushion to send a message for those think that he will allow himself to get manhandled while the refs have the hands in the shorts. Too bad POS Garland over sold it. He might get more games due to Garlands acting

That’s a player bracing themselves as he’s already falling to the ice. Well after contact was already made from McDavid. Doesn’t disprove that McDavid initiated contact
Initiating contact is irrelvant when a play then grabs your arm drags you down there's no bracing on other teams player and holds your arm for another six seconds and the grabs and tackles you again.

Initiating contact is the entire reason they ended up on the ground. Garland isn’t falling without McDavid causing him to fall.
You’re saying Garland pulled McDavid down when you can clearly see McDavid initiate contact which is the catalyst to why they are falling in the first place. Garland didnt just randomly grab McDavid and throw him to the ice.
Did Garland hold onto him? Yes. Was it the reason they went down? No,
McDavid was playing the puck when they collided, are you blind thats not interference at all.

Point.....the refs f***ed up in not calling penalties on bith of them. They both earned them....and the fact the Oilers had the puck is moot.

Intinital contact does not justify holding a a guys arm as yiu are going down and hauling him on top of you and then not letting go.
The tussle happened as a result of THAT. There were penalties that should have been called before the crosscheck.
The refs f***ed up...and i honestlyndont blame McDavid.and that's why tonight at family dinner when we discussed this I told my father in law there are 3 jobs I could never do because it would not be good as I don't put up with shit:

What happened prior to Garland holding onto McDavid? McDavid knocking over Garland as he poked the puck away from McDavid.
The refs f***ed up by not giving both of them penalties, but lets not act like McDavid was hauled down out of nowhere.

Judging by the video it was Garland who fell victim to that.
It's not uncommon for both players to hit the ice when contact/hits are initiated. Garland held him down yes, but you have to understand how they got into that situation.
Refs dont call McDavids high stick on Hronek
Refs call play dead when Arvidsson takes a puck to the shin and breaks a leg. He comes back on the ice 30 seconds later healed.
