That was clear penalty. Not even weak call at all. Three clear two hander slashes, not even trying to avoid penalty.. :

In the NHL that's not a penalty. There's a clear difference between soft slashes to distract your opponent and a vicious slash/slash on hands which makes it a hooking call.

From the angle we saw it (and the ref) it looks like gloves at first but looking closely it's clearly on the stick, not gloves.

Gaborik tried to sticklift but stole the puck and played out the defender with hooking in the hands addicentally. Hard to not call it, as it could aend in goal so easily. Unfortunate for slovaks.

Why do they keep trying to have Aaltonen shoot on the PP, he can't hit the net to save his life...just let Lindell do the shooting, he at least puts it on goal, and score on the rebounds
