GDT: May 7 • Sweden vs. Germany

Thats not an excuse:D but sure looks good for the future;) i'm faithfull right now i'm still a bit angry (sore loser:naughty:)

And this game means more for Germany than it dose for Sweden:)
 
Good for the game that this uphold is loong, germans getting the rest. Swedes sleepy sleepy?
 
Man I just hope that Germany do a push with a hockey program, that would do so much for the popularity of the sport. They can hire coaches from bigger hockey nations for the juniors, can't be that expensive.

Sweden have a very good program. Teaching denmark and norway (and Finland in the 80's and 90's) to play hockey. Canada managers going to Sweden as well. Right now mostly for Swedes goaltending program, accually. I thought Finland had more good goalies, but the swedes knowing is well thought of. Been all over a long time now managing teams and hockey programs.

I'm not sure if it's a hockey problem specifically, we pretty much suck at all sports except one. Our handball team also failed to qualify for olympics and the world chammpionship and there's way less excuse for them than the hockey team

Don't think the hit was too bad. Just very late. Interference with injury = major.
 
Put your elbow down and taget the body instead of the head. And that is a fantastic hit.. that should get him Suspended.

Yes some years ago Sweden was well below Finland regarding goalies but now there are heaps of Swedish goalies in NHL/AHLL. At the top level Finland is still stronger bar the top place, but that is a result of how it was before.

But with Germany, it is the most important nation economically and politically in Europe, it would be great if they made a take-offf hockey-wise.
 
Ah wasnt the elbow. Looken like it at first.. Now it was just a regular head to head check ;p
