Yeah...I think i have to sort of disagree with you there. Russia has been good but USA have been a little better this game to be honest.

None of them are playing with Malkin.

I think it's been pretty exciting for a 0-0 game.

A lot of good scoring chances but both goalies have been playing outstanding.

I think NHL game would be more exciting in an international sized rink since it will open up space. Skilled players will have more room to work with. It has been boring lately with the constant dump and chase.

I like bigger ice but you can stifle offence just as easily on the big ice if you choose to.

I'm Russian and I gotta say that this Russian team is terribad. Seriously, this Americans have no elite players out there, NONE. Russia has several superstars out there but they play like amateurs.

Hendricks got tripped nowhere near the puck in the same change that Larkin got the penalty.

Finally found a channel to watch the game (start of the 3rd period) - it's on CSN Chicago in my area.

Ovechkin looks gassed. He carried the puck in on the PP and lost the puck and had no energy to try to get the puck back. I get that Ovechkin is a great player and will help the Russian team - but not if he has no legs from travel.
