One thing I don't get in this game is that the swiss have a north american coach in hanlon, so like...the swiss players all speak english to hanlon? Or hanlon speaks german? Or translators?

Yep. USA controls the puck and plays more, but they have not been that dangerous..
I am not particularly impressed by the swiss team this year, but it will take way more than what they are doin at the moment to be able to go through the swiss defense.
And when there is a player like Josi on the field, another goal that comes out of nowhere is always possible.

Bonino has had a good season. A legit 2nd line C, not one I would like to have on 1C, it is a step step for him if you meet good opposition.

Yes first was awful, team did not deserve the goal. It was mostly the US shooting meagerly screened perimeter shots the whole first.
