You shouldn't be surprised when when USA's so-called "plugs" beat Switzerland. The Swiss "A" team is basically 5-6 legit players and a bunch of plugs.

Getting back at someone by using derogatory terms directed at ANOTHER team is not the best thing to do. If the Swiss "plugs" would have won this game, no one would have been outraged. We played as good as you did. You simply exploited a couple of chances better, that was the difference. Let's not make it sound like you outclassed us...

Swiss is missing missing X-factor Hiller, two or three decent 2nd/3rd line forwards and a handful of 2nd/3rd pairing defensemen. On the flip side USA is missing the entire "A" squad in virtually every position. That said, in best-on-best the Swiss always manage to keep it close, I'm surprised they were as rattled as they were against Canada. Today's game was the sort of game I expected them to play last Sunday.

He was replying back with a term that was already used to describe the US team. The US won and deserve to be in the semis no matter how many chances the Swiss failed to convert.

Without Helly, our team here in St.John's would have been last in the league. Connor was an absolute stud all year long and is something special to watch. He beat out Petr Budaj for the starter job almost immediately (Granted Budaj didn't win a single game all year).

Yeah, hes the real deal. Pretty happy for the guy to get this chance

Jones, Eichel and Larkin will be A team damn soon! Hell Jones is already... Swiss sure coulda used Nino Niederreiter
