German or French I guess
On this roster most speak German (or "Swissgerman"), only a few are French and Italian speaking.

Why did they keep passing the puck to Brunner?
If I were the swiss, I might as well goon it up at this point. Bruise up the yanks so their next opponent has an easier time.
Any Rätoromanian players?
You are like.... canadian. Seriously play to win to the last second, everything is for losers.
Don't think so. There are only around 50'000 people speaking that language...
The current champion comes from that region. Not directly, but pretty close: It's only spoken in a few valleys in a very mountainous (spelling?) region.Still enough to produce a top player, but perhaps it isn't poular in that part of the country?

I can't believe the swiss are being beaten by a bunch of american plugs....this is so uninspiring...
Well played USA.

Don't think its the popularity, rather lack of icerinks. They have some pretty good skiers and cross-country skiers, as you can do that there by basically going outside.
USA survived. The color analyst is BSing. USA really didn't start skating until about halfway through the second. Once they got going they were OK. They won't have the luxury of surviving going forward if they don't hunker down and focus.
