It´s a bit sad that a quarterfinal game is played in such an atmosphere.

Well, it's a weekday and I don't think feast of ascension is a holiday in the Czech Republic.

Hope the Swiss get another PP soon - US had a terrible time getting the puck out.

Why are there so few people at the arena? Huge increase in ticket prices or what?
It's in the middle of a work day. Also, this sort of an attendance would be considered really good a couple of years ago. :)

Roman Josi is a gift of the hockey gods to Switzerland. What a player.

Josi is right now probably the best player in Swiss hockey history.
He just does it all, unbelievable. Funny to think that some casual NHL watchers think he's a product of Shea Weber.

Are the US Player in their NHL clubs only 3rd 4th liners or are there also some important Players??

Man Gardiner is terrible...not sure what happened to him but he was amazing in the playoffs back in 2013. Since then he's been just flat out terrible. He should be in the stands not on the ice.

Brock Nelson is definitely a top 6-caliber player. Then you have Jack Eichel as a future franchise player and Dylan Larkin as a future Ryan Kesler-type player. It's not a good roster, though. Most of the NHLers are role players, several guys who haven't played in the NHL yet. Not a lot of offensive firepower.

Agreed. The US team is going to really struggle to score if/when the Swiss retreat into their infamous defensive shell.

One thing I don't get in this game is that the swiss have a north american coach in hanlon, so like...the swiss players all speak english to hanlon? Or hanlon speaks german? Or translators?
