Hard to see USA beating Russia a second time, especially with Ovechkin joining for the SF.

A Canada/Crosby vs Russia/Ovie final is looking very possible.

Too many men is like icing or shooting the puck over the boards in your own end. They are plays clearly against the rules and it's be a joke if refs did not call them.

Russia just scored off a non-call of the same rule. He didn't touch the puck, but affected the play much more by screening the player instead, making for an easy clear instead of a Swedish scoring chance, they scored on their next zone entry. I can requests refs that don't turn literally half the game so far into PP in a playoff game without being bitter. Sweden didn't stand much of a chance before the game.

I'm just hoping for a decent game here- and have no vested interest- but you can feel free to do anything else if you don't like the rules or how they're being enforced.

The way the team played against Slovakia and Finland, it was a very logical conclusion to accept the possibility that we could be going home after today. I hope the first period is a sign that we're not going home today. There is help on the horizon!

tough coaches are so overrated, do they create the best team? hardly.

But I want a coach that coach, fix things when it do not work, but they do not need to be tough for that.
