Moses is a special player, the only question mark in terms of potential NHL success is his size

Rinne was bad today

Saros should have the start in the next game.

Rinne should have a 2nd chance to be the starter for the rest of the tournament, but if saros playes well and rinne again bad than saros should get a chance to become the starter

I'm sorry to say this, Mrs. Saros, but that probably won't happen.

Wasn't expecting that much goal scoring from the US today. Who were the goal scorers? And how did Eichel look?

Hendricks x2, Moses, Bonino and Sexton.

Eichel looked a bit tentative/tired. He hasn't been on the ice at all for over three weeks so he's getting his legs back under him so it'll probably take him another game or so to settle in.

He did have a couple of dangerous chances though. One where he beat Rinne but just missed top corner while on the rush and another on the rush where he shot low far-post and Rinne made a nice save but kicked the rebound out to Lewis who should have easily buried it far side but instead shot it back against the play right into Rinne. As a Kings fan, I've seen that many times from stone hands

Far too familiar with that

Would you say Larkin was a part of his line's offense, or did it just kind of happen around him? I saw their first two goals, and Larkin didn't really contribute much to them.

Was he better than that would indicate? I only really got to see the early second.

He certainly had his moments, but he also had a few terrible mistakes. But you expect that with a young guy.

Good luck with Rinne right now. Since coming back from an injury in February, he's been as bad as I've ever seen him. Truly bad. Gave up 3-4 goals nearly every game down the stretch for the Predators. No one knows what happened. Preds fans were hoping there was some lingering injury but that wasn't the case. Lost his goalie coach, Mitch Korn, when Trotz was fired last season. Some think he's missing the guidance of Korn who was his only coach coming through the Preds system since being drafted. Before the injury, he was on pace to break the NHL record for wins in a season. It's remarkable how much his game has fallen off.
