I can't foresee a scenario where he is traded. It is lunacy to trade a guy who scores 35-40 goals while making comparatively no money, for futures, especially not in the position the Habs are in, which is win now

Doing this either drops Galchenyuk down to 2C or shifts him to 1LW, both of which would be bad for his development, mentality, and desire to stay on the Habs.
This year is Galchenyuk to prove he is a true 1C, (Assuming the asinine head coach actually plays him there), and he should be given the chance to show what he can do.
Also, trading out Pacioretty without bringing in an LW to replace him creates another huge hole in an already Swiss cheese lineup.

If the Habs don't make the playoffs, Therrien is gone for sure and Bergevin maybe, then I could see Pacioretty being traded, or at least replaced as Captain.
