I never said he did. Just pointing out an example of how it's not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of fight in the dog. Some folks equate size to being tough to play against and physicality..... and it's not always true

I just don't get what Sweeney saw in this guy? What was he supposed to be? He doesn't hit. He doesn't fight. He doesn't do much of anything. Supposed to be big and fast and I guess he's big enough but he's not really any faster than anybody else. With this Kastelic fill in call up I'm just seeing a whole lot of nothing.

It's crazy how lackadaisical the guy plays for how close he is to being out of the league.

IMO he’s looked good. Brings much needed speed and strong board play. I still take Koepke over Jones but I would keep Jones over Braz. Braz has become a good trade candidate.

I agree. The guy wasn’t noticeable at all. I thought I’d see energy and someone who would play like he wanted to stay, but I feel like I watching a guy who was playing cautious and was afraid to make a mistake or he would be back on his way to providence.

I wish I would have seen a guy who brought energy on every shift he was out there, but it wasn’t even close.

On the positive ... At least he didn't get called for a penalty last night, so that's an improvement.

Nick Ritchie, 100 penalty minutes in 19 games. That's hilarious.

I never ever hated the guy. I just wish he was in better shape when he was with the Bruins. He's got good instincts and a decent set of hands, but my god was he out of shape. I wish he took it more serious because his numbers were half decent.

there was a shift either against the sharks or last night where minimim really turned on the jets and showed what a great skater he is. unfortantely, thats about it for him. always rooting something clicks and he can help us.

I always thought that he could've been a prime Lucic if he just had some drive. Didn't mind him when he was here but he left me wanting more too often. That being said some of the hate he got here was just excessive and unnecessary just because he didn't skate at 1,000mph

Max Jones is the opposite, has a lot of heart and skates well but thats about where it stops for him. I do think he's been better this time around than the start of the year but unfortunately for him 1) Thats a low bar to clear and 2) we have like 7 guys who do the exact same thing.
