Honestly why does Maurice get so much exposure. I have seen numerous articles on the web about him but nothing about Cassidy for instance. Seems incredibly odd for an NHL.coacj to get more exposure then his players or the other coaches.
Cuz Cassidy doesn't have his own groupie like Guffman yet.Honestly why does Maurice get so much exposure. I have seen numerous articles on the web about him but nothing about Cassidy for instance. Seems incredibly odd for an NHL.coacj to get more exposure then his players or the other coaches.
One is entertaining in his pressers with the media and the other is not.Honestly why does Maurice get so much exposure. Damn, by winning the lottery we lost out on both Matt and motivational speaker Keith. Dad would have had most of our team stinging like a bee, even if 55 would have continued to float like a butterfly.“This is do-or-die for the Panthers right now,’’ Keith told First Up with Korolnek & Colaiacovo. “I watched them the other night and I know I am staying at Brady’s house and Brady’s team played really well. They have some jam and, you know, I am a little disappointed with the Panthers.
“They are a soft team and they are getting everything they deserve right now.”
“Instead of trying to get autographs on the ice from Matthews and Marner,” he said, “they probably should check them a little harder. Whatever it is, it is disappointing. I know I sound like a frustrated person, but I know every time I come and watch Ottawa, they may not be the most talented team but they’re going to play hard. Perhaps Florida could take a page out of their book.”
"It is up to them to get their butts going and start playing like the team that should be a lot better than what they are showing right now.”

It wasn't Maurice's rant that got things turned around. It was the above from Keith Tkachuk.... Maurice can yell and scream all he wants, but a player never wants to be called "soft", and it was Keith Tkachuk that did that, not Maurice.
And from the players...
"He was right,” Lomberg said. “Obviously, he knows what he was talking about and I’m sure he’s enjoying our style of play now.”
“We’re here because of him,” Panthers captain Aleksander Barkov said.
Oh Oh
Vindication delayed
bob stands on his head = maurice vindicatedGuy took his team to the SCF... the vindication is locked in no matter what. I am not gonna count Bob shitting the bed in this Vegas series count against their record this post-season.

Florida Panthers players singing the praises of Paul Maurice
These scribes must be reading my stuff on the forums. They even refer to Maurice’s rant on March 29 with Tkachuk listening intently, noting the Panthers won and then went on a roll, all things that I noted recently.
Guffman should write for Sportsnet.
I dunno about Maurice, but I personally feel a bit vindicated after arguing the past few pages of this thread that the Panthers success was largely based on Bob going into god mode and now that he's crumbling so is his team
If by “Guy” you mean “Bobrovsky”, then yea, you’re correct. I mean, “Maurice is a good enough coach that he can lead a mediocre team with insanely lucky goaltending to the SCF” isn’t exactly vindication.Guy took his team to the SCF... the vindication is locked in no matter what. How does Maurice even go back to Bob for game 3?

I don't even think you watched that bruins seriesMaurice has been making savvy choices with his goaltenders, switching them at appropriate times.
Whatever choice Maurice makes for Game 3, it will be the best choice. It is now up to Paul to get Florida back into this… much like he did against Boston and willed the team into the playoffs.
Have faith, non-believers!
I forgot what your narrative was for the series victory over the historic 65-win Boston Bruins, with Bob going .891. Can you remind me again?
I ask because .891 goaltending isn’t what a normal person without a vendetta would call “insanely lucky goaltending”.
