Yeah maybe. It’s really hard to tell much yet though. I suspect they’ll be similar when it’s all said and done.

And he was the first star in both of these games too. He is, undeniably, a game breaker. Let’s see if he becomes more consistent.

Torts put him on a line with a couple of plugs last night and it was really not working, but finally started shuffling things in the third period.

Michkov needs to play with skilled guys, otherwise its such a waste for everyone involved.

Kuch went 58'th overall despite putting great numbers in juniors. Sometimes great players fall in draft for unknown reasons.

Kucherov was not that well known, imo. Before the U18s that he lit up, I wouldn't be shocked if many NHL scouts had never heard of him.

The historical context will be easy to find for anybody that looks. There was a literal war in his home country that made teams worry they might not be able to get him over. Philly rolled the dice and it worked out for them. They were one looney Putin dictate away from being wrong.
