I always thought ‘day to day’ meant that the player is assessed daily to see if he’s ready to play.

The only thing I find interesting about this whole thing is that the media in this city is so docile that they won't even hint at what the injury is, even though they all absolutely know what it actually is. There is no way that other players, training staff, etc. aren't talking about it to members of the media off the record.
