This is team is struggling to score goals, Poitras should be getting less ice time.Exactly.

I look at the stat that he has one goal this year, and two goals since November 6 2023, that is the stat that works for me, oh and my eyes.Did you even look at the stats the poster was referring to?
I think he creates a lot of good looks. He is a playmaker.I look at the stat that he has one goal this year, and two goals since November 6 2023, that is the stat that works for me, oh and my eyes.

Yes, he is, 9 assists, in the same period of time.I think he creates a lot of good looks. He is a playmaker.
Great ! lets show this to all the GMs in the league and see what we can get for him.Poitras' analytics indicate that the Bruins dominate the play when he's on the ice, and struggle when he's off the ice. For all the perceived issues he has, he's been a huge net positive play driver at 5 on 5.
Same poster that thinks Coyle is not a problem, I guess his eyes see a diffence between 3 and 2 points.Poitras' analytics indicate that the Bruins dominate the play when he's on the ice, and struggle when he's off the ice. For all the perceived issues he has, he's been a huge net positive play driver at 5 on 5. His scoring is a factor of playing largely with low quality line mates and not getting much PP time.
For now he seems like the ideal 3rd line player. Still too young. But too good to send down. He makes the bruins better. He has a sneaky good shot. But seems this year he hasn’t been using it. I bet he spent the summer trying to be stronger. Next year he probably works on his shot.Yes, he is, 9 assists, in the same period of time.
