I'll take it, big boys showed up, well some of them at least. Good thing Matthew Knies realized there's a contract to play for, all kidding aside his game looks good but he's far from being a finished product. I think the Leafs bringing in Pacioretty has been a good role model for him.

Matthews had some jump, but his hands aren't quite there YET! Hopefully it won't take long, the Leafs need him along with the others to do any damage in the playoffs.

Woll weebled and wobbled and sort of didn't really fall down. Maybe he and Will went day drinking!

WTH is with the Canadiens, they haven't found themselves a modern day Rogie Vachon, or worse a Ken Dryden?

It's all in the rear view now boys, on to the next!

GLG

They are all of a sudden challenging for a playoff spot. My God the east is weak right now. Kudos to them though for big wins in Florida and Colorado.

Biggest plus of the evening is Matthews didn't look like he was labouring for the first time this year.
That assist on Knies hat trick was the most encouraging for me. He doesn't go hard behind the net and into the boards, using his size and leverage to win the puck unless he is very confident in his health. That was something I'd see a player like Cam Neely do.

I hope Berube rests him a little more tomorrow night as well if he is playing. He had 17 minutes tonight. That's a good amount of time for him until he is 100%. It may even be the more preferable approach for the foreseeable future.

This should be the end of Reaves. Your franchise player, injured and trying to play against a historic tough team with a couple of nuts and he doesn't dress...doesn't intimidate, or fight, or defend or play good hockey. He needs to go to the Robidais island.
Reaves will likely be in the lineup tomorrow.

We're gonna be a hard team to beat in the playoffs. We just keep going with our game throughout the 60 regardless of what's happening around us.

No. More late 80s through the nineties. If a musician rhymed a certain way and others copied but couldn't keep up, the original musician was thought to be a father of their style and whooping them/son them by showing them how it is done.
Wow what a long way to say we kicked their ass’s

Woll had a rough game which kept the game close. Matthews seems to be moving well again, he actually dove for the EN winner so hopefully that means he's finally getting better

Good to get two points in regulation against Boston.

Top line was great, Matthews looked good. Too bad all the other lines sucked.

I thought Myers looked good too. He was pretty solid for us on the PK. He’s getting more ice time and his play is improving a bit. Felt like the contract signing took some weight off his shoulders and he was able to play a little more free in this one.

Also, Panama is clearly the superior goal song, Leafs should stick to that one.
