Should the Rangers trade Rempe to help the Rangers at the deadline? I don't think his value will get higher than what it is now. I'm not saying they should do it, but of Rangers coaches don't trust him why keep him around. He needs to hire a skills coach this summer.
You answered the question. Should the rangers trade Rempe because his value of not much won't get higher than not much. Seems like an easy answer.

We don't have a lot of draft capital but he's young enough that taking a mid-low round draft isn't worth it, yet.

I was just seeing what others thought. I don't want him dealt but the coaches need to trust him and put him in situations to succeed not to just be a goon
He is not at that in all situations yet....not many guys with his skill level are in all honesty if any . He is young and willing....so there is a glimmer of hope .

Didn't get the chance to post until the following day in PGT and it was locked shortly after so for those who didn't see my Rempe story..

We were eating in the sports bar inside Rogers Arena a couple hours prior to the game and noticed a guy wearing a Rempe jersey, we went over and said we liked his jersey and told him how big of Rempe fans we were, and it just so happened that he was a close family friend of the Rempe's. He & Matt's mom were high school sweethearts back in the day. He was friend's with Matt's dad as well and raved about how great of a guy he was, and how great of a kid Matt is. He & his son were both there and had signed Rempe jerseys which Matt sent out to them. Matt's mom was there as well, and this Western Canada trip was going to be pretty special for him considering he would've got the chance to play in the arena (Calgary Saddledome) that his father who passed away when Matt was 15, built. He took a pic with us and sent it to Matt telling him he had big fans in Vancouver, he also sent him a pic of a certain sign I had made for him which you guys won't see until he does manage to come here. They said Matt would be fired up about it lol, excuse the absolute potato pic:

been watching the Pack since Rempe went down and have some thoughtz

- His forechecking and the pace he forechecks is much better. Even from the AHL last year, he's just quicker and heavier on the boards.
- He's tried a lot of new things offensively, backhand passes, wrap arounds, coming off the wall to shoot. He's not just hanging in front hoping for a tip, he's actually trying to create offense. To varying degrees of success, but still.
- He's still quite undisciplined in his own zone. Can't keep up with pointmen very well and relies on superhero blocks way too often.
- His balance is a huge problem. We all knew this, it's no surprise at all for a player of his build, but it's a major handicap to his ability to intimidate and forecheck. No one is afraid of him because he gets knocked down so easily. He struggles at the net front because of it. I don't know how you correct this.

All in all I don't feel much better about his chances than I did during Rempemania
