Matt Greene doesn't score in the shootout AGAIN, Kings lose 2-1

Kopitar's shootout attempt looked like a shot you would take in warmups to get your goalie to feel the puck.

It was embarrassing.

And make all the sarcastic comments you want about people blaming Greene, he is a complete and utter disaster on the ice right now. He sucks and should not be playing.

So much garbage to clear out in the summer

Greene, Wiliams, Stoll/Richards??

Vancouver won the two most important games of the season series. Both times the Kings had a chance to encroach on their territory and both times they shoved the Kings not only away, but out of a playoff position.

*********. All games give the winner two points in the standings. Yes, even the ones in October.

People should not be sleeping on Edmonton tomorrow. This is a very, very tired Kings team. 2nd game of a back to back, and the game after is vs Calgary. Tomorrow's game feels like a trap game, where the Kings are looking at Calgary and skipping over Edmonton. Add to the fact that they just played one of their most physical games all year and it went to OT/SO. Good grief. Doesn't look good.

The Canucks are a legit playoff team. They were never going to miss this season.

STL needs to beat Winnipeg in regulation tomorrow and the Kings have to beat Edmonton. We no longer control our own destiny. If Kings grab anything less than a point from here on out, it's done for them. Need 6 points and they're in.

We still control it thanks the the game vs Calgary. Now that is a must win.

What is our record against western playoff teams this year? It must be pretty bad.

This is some ADT **** right here. ;)

Daryl Evans providing the excuses tonight. They're tired, it's late in the season, the other team is laying on them.

There are ****ing shootouts in the ****ing playoffs thank ****ing God

Even if we make the playoffs this year hopefully DL realizes some changes need to be made. Hopefully his loyalty doesn't blind how bad some of the veterans have been this year

Kings still control their destiny. However so do the Flames and the Jets and only two will make it.

We do control our own destiny, we play Calgary on Thursday. 3 wins and we finish 3rd in the Pacific.

Still in control with 99 points possible , and a game against Calgary.

Yah, no second chances next season. You saw how RIchards turned out, don't make the same mistake twice.

Matt Greene's holding penalty was embarrassing, and it was right after that penalty had ended that Vancouver took advantage of the Kings who had made a line change (and were disorganized).

The Kopitar line was just useless the entire night. Well, save for Gaborik who setup both Williams and Kopitar with some glorious chances that were both blown.

Given the lack of effort they displayed tonight, these guys must have a ton left in the tank for Edmonton tomorrow.

And yet again, Quick gets no support from his teammates in this game. Only one goal scored in regulation and how many shootouts have the Kings gone through this season where they didn't even score on any of their three attempts? It's pathetic how bad this team can be when it comes to earning extra points.
