I agree with the general idea of this post. However, I don't think we can call this team "young" anymore. Tkachuk will be 25 y/o, Batherson is 26, Chabot will be 28, etc. The median team looks to be 28.15, we are 27.45

Maybe immature is a better word than young. These guys are all entering their physical primes soon, but they still clearly have a lot to learn. That's okay because players can learn quickly if they're committed.

But I do still think they're young. Our captain is 25, our #1 center is 22, our #1 defenseman is 22 (happy birthday Sanderson btw), our #2 center is 23. Not all of our core pieces are young, but our best ones are.
