Come on Marty, time to step up tonight. You're the one (the main one anyway) with all the playoff experience, show us tonight you are here for a reason.

Let's Go Rangers!

I hear that, but the elephant in the room is Rick Nash. Somebody please clue him in that being Mr. October isn't a good thing in this sport

Cue the, "but one was a deflection off of a hard pass to the net and another was a soft goal" crowd.

Well, I'm all over these boards criticizing Nash, and while I think his play during the Flyers series and the first four games of the Penguins series was inexcusable, I think he's played really well in this series. I know we pay him for goal scoring and overall it still isn't enough, but he's been selling out on defense, winning pucks along the boards, and doing things that oftentimes helps win playoff games.

We do need for from St Louis, though. The time is now.

Nash played exceptionally well last game... made about 4 solid pass chances that should have been goals. Was also all over the map in the O zone wreaking havoc. Refreshing to watch.

Yea, he was pretty good. However, he continues to be one of the worst board players for a big guy that I've ever seen. For such a big dude, hes really not strong.

LOL, every thread turns into a Rick Nash hate thread:laugh:

The Boyle thread has posts about Nash's NTC, and this thread about St. Louis has turned into a Nash sucks thread.

Greatest Trade of All Time and it's not even close

That being said, MSL is an absolute stud and we're lucky we have such a great player.

Even if we don't win the Cup, making the playoffs is historic. We still remember making the Finals in 1979. Even the Finals loser gets talked about for a long time. Without MSL, we are golfing after 6 games against Philthy in round 1.

That said, 4 more wins, then go golfing.

"I wish I was still there so we could have lost to Pittsburgh" ?

Good point. Still, something has to be going through his mind when watching his good old friends getting to the SCF while he and TB got totally wasted by the Habs.....

When has that ever stopped anyone?
True. Like I said a while ago, it no longer matters who traded what for whom. Or what metric one utilizes to measure how good of a team this is. What does matter is the Rangers are in the Cup finals.

Plenty of times to rehash trades, picks and other things latter on.

Or at least that is the way that I see it.
