yeah me neither. when my dad died i was a wreck for months...its been six years and i still have moments where im kinda stunned. i dont think that ever goes away.

I remember when you Dad died. You posted a thread about it. I couldn't imagine what you were feeling even though you were putting your feelings and memories across so vividly. As I was reading that thread I knew someday I would feel the same feelings you were and hoped that time wouldn't be soon.

Since that time, in less then 4 years I lost both my Mother, in April of 2010 she was 65 and my Dad this past December he was 73. My Mothers death was what it was, sad but I moved on. My Father's death just crushed me. I accepted that he died, but I still have the same moments of disbelief.

Stay strong MSL.

I'm sorry to read that, Baby Punisher. I hope you're doing fine now.

To the people booing him, you guys should be ashamed of yourselves.
Who the **** boo their own player ? I saw it in Montreal with Carey Price and it made me sick.

Everybody deals with grief in their own way. I have seen others who exemplify strength and character do much the same.
My thoughts are with Marty St. Louis and his family. I am sure he is getting lots of support from his teammates. That hug from Brassard on the bench was beautiful.

Level of respect for this guy just went up a few notches.

Should have been with his family and no one would have said word one.

The fact that he played tonight is just awesome.

thoughts an prayers are with him and his family.

Glad thy won

ugh, i'm so sorry to hear that man...i cant say it ever goes away...but it does get easier.

Something tells me MSL is going to get a massive ovation from the Garden faithful when he steps on the ice Sunday.

To compound the heartache, next game is played on Mother's Day.

I say it after they lose and I say it after they win....

I'm still in.

This and next season are the best shot we've had at going all the way since emerging from the dark years. Or what I like to call the Lundqvist era.

This is it. Win now.

I'm in.

It's tough. My dad died the middle of November 2012. We used to talk practically every day for years and years and years. We almost never agreed with each other on anything. A kind of Archie Bunker-meathead relationship with me as Meathead. Still think about him all the time.
