Really I'm just feeling more comfortable saying McDonagh is plenty good to be mentioned alongside the guys in the league that people generally think of as the best defensemen. I am a homer, and I am high on McDonagh however

Best defenseman on the best defensive team the past 3 yrs. Canadian Olympian, #1 dman, etc.
