Yup... its the reaction. If not for the reaction, people would just ignore his stats. Note this was posted before the Bruins 2024 series. So it only got worse:

in 21-22 he scored 2 goals and 6 assists in 7 games
in 22-23 he scored 3 goals and had 11 assists in 11 games . those numbers you posted make no sense
As far as shots close to the net you would have to watch the games and see if he is not being passed the puck or if there are other reasons

The real question is why on earth the Leafs cant win one game without Marner doing it for them. expecting 2 or 3 points per game every game is not rational or possible

Rely on good old hate. It doesn't matter if it's not true, or if it's the result of skewed vision, it's gotta be 100% pure hate.
