If you consider Holmberg and Robertson graduated and don't include Amirov for obvious reasons, who would you consider our 4th best prospect after Knies, Minten, Niemela?

SDA?
Hirvonen?
Moldenhauer?
Voit?

Voit if we go upside alone. Steeves has the best mix of upside and downside.

And I don't have Minten as a top 3 prospect in our pool.

Gun to my head here's my top-10 (U24) with those guys not included:

1. Knies
2. Niemela
---
3. Tverberg
4. Minten
5. SDA
6. Voit
7. Abruzzese
8. Hirvonen
---
9. Lisowsky
10. Moldenhauer

HM: Hildeby, Kokkonen, Steeves

I could be convinced any day if Niemela or Knies are our #1. I'd say it's pretty clear Minten & Tverberg round out the top-4 for me based on performance/upside. Both Voit and SDA having ridiculous years pushing them like 10+ spots on my board but i prefer Tverberg/Minten's track record for now. Abruzzse and Hirvonen always seem to be at the end of tier 2, but I'd say I'm lower on them today than I was at the beginning of the year. Tier 3 is some heavy upside with bust potential and some low upside with high floors. I prefer Lisowsky the best, but I'm always a sucker for high upside and standout traits.

Villeneuve for Pietroniro and there is your optimal defence. Also can Moore stop playing Clifford on the 3rd line. That top 9 is real strong except for Clifford. Abramov replacing him is the easy move

Marlies win 5-4 in OT. Guadette OT winner. Marlies came back from 2 down in the third.
Steeves and Kral with a goal each
Hollowell and Anderson with an assist
Woll 27 saves and remains undefeated at 7-0
Marlies outshot the Comets 32-31.
Former Marlie Andreas Johnsson with 3 points

Wonder if Andreas Johnsson could be the 2023 Alex Galchenyuk line 2 replacement minus the playoff giveaway?

Moldenhauer at #6 is interesting. For me it'll be interesting to see how he does in the NCAA before the hype starts becoming more real.

After Niemela, the Leafs defensive prospect depth is bad. It's got some ok parts but very little quality. Kral, Villeneuve and Kokkonen is pretty meh.

Villeneuve would be the one who might become something if I were to guess.
From the few viewings, he seems calm, and controlled.
Do they have any potential 1st. pairing defenders? Remember, I said potential ... Liljegren might be the only one?
If Niemela can transition to the NHL, that will be an interesting watch.

Liljegren is well on his way to that if you want to include him here. Him and Sandin is very good U-25 quality.

As for non-NHL prospects, Niemela probably has the potential to reach that level of quality as well. I'm skeptical but he's definitely capable. Villeneuve is solid don't get me wrong and he's a pro rookie so he's actually having a solid season. We'll see how he does going into next season.

There are several defensemen in the league who are his size and performing well ... Niemela.

Hoefenmayer; who is he? Stat watching looks great. High PM so guessing physical. Is there any nhl potential or a career AHL'er? Looking for some detail from those who have seen him play

Cushman to me is the best follow out there for Leaf prospects. And he has a very small following.
love his prospect recap threads. appreciate that he gives videos and not just stats (and not just good stuff. always shows goals against the goalies lol).
