You rarely get any trolls in here because following the prospects actually takes time. Low effort trolls don't have anything to talk about in here.

Was going to post the exact same sentiment.

It’s a nice escape from the gloom and doom that follows every game, whether we won or lost.

It also gets you excited for what we have coming up, and shows where Dubas really shines in finding these guys in the draft. Credit when and where it’s due.

Aside from a snipe, thats such a typical Knies goal

Everything in this goal is exactly everything we need in our lineup.

Size, goes to the net hard and with purpose, hands to finish.

Knies is such a great prospect to get excited about.

Can’t wait to see him in a Leaf’s uniform, sooner rather than later I hope.

I don’t want to start a massive debate about this, but when you watch Knies do this, and you’ve seen Robertson play at various levels, this is why you wait before signing Bunts to a big dollar long-term contract. Hoping that Amirov’s health continues to improve and we see him this year too, we may have three high level LW players shortly in the lineup. We can’t commit big dollars to someone when we *might* have ELC replacements.

Kasper Larsen played for Mississauga today.

He had 2 assists. They already waived Valdemar William Hull to make Import room for him and I imagine they will trade OA RW Jake Uberti (who sat for Larsen) to open up the OA spot for him.

It’s exactly the kinda move Josh Anderson makes when he decides to show up once every 5 games. (Which always seems to be against the Leafs lol)

Hopefully Knies can bring some of that to the Leafs but with much more consistency than Josh.

Kral has the whiff of a Gunnarsson type of defense prospect. Not super flashy at the lower levels but possessing the solid skills and body frame to turn into a reliable NHL defender.

Ha, yeah I've always been very impressed by Anderson based on his games against the Leafs, but then Habs fans assure me he's actually kinda shit.

Had a check on his splits. Turns out it's only 14 points in 28 games against the Leafs, but 11 goals. Narrowing down to his time as a Hab, it's 10 points in 15 games, with 7 goals... So, a 38 goal, 55 point pace vs the Leafs, compared to a 23 goal, 35 point pace against everyone else.

I really like voit. Great on his edges, great hands, great vision. Kind of plays a similar style to marner. Of course the big knock on him right now is his size. I won't be shocked if he becomes a full time nhler sometime in the future.

There’s no chance you see Amirov this season. Health permitting he’s going to need to put on a lot of weight /muscle before he can play at pro level again. Definitely pulling for him ! I think it’s great he’s around the team.
