How so? Its certainly not offensively.
Seems like your best argument is "he isnt Brian Boyle"
That isnt enough?

Loved Gabby, but the trade made the Rangers a better team. Brass is a great middle-6 center, Moore is looking like the next best thing to McD, and we still haven't even seen Dorsett play yet. No regrets about the trade at all.

It actually really hasn't set in that Gabs isn't a Ranger anymore
Well what are you judging it on? His stats?
Cause blue jacket fans all said he is a VERY effective 3rd line player and his offense has been getting better.
I think i'd prefer to listen to eye witness accounts rather then hockeydb.com
Don't know what it says about him, but Gaborik's already back in NY/on his way back.
What do you mean? There was a clause so that he could come back for the playoffs
But seriously is he moving or just coming back
well, he bought an apartment in NYC, and he's spending time in new york
Rangers actually got two 1st rounders for Gabs.. Brassard and Moore

Reminiscing on last years series with the Caps in which Gaborik got the triple overtime winner.![]()
Nonetheless this was a great trade.

Blue Jackets have been one of the worst teams over the past 10 years. Plenty of their effective 2nd liners should have been 3rd liners and 3rd should have been 4th etc. I don't think that's a very good way to judge it.
That isnt enough?
He was a 3rd liner on a perennial doormat of the NHL. Pardon me while I deal with the tingle coming up my leg.
Ah gotcha.
So Nash is really a 2nd liner.
Brassard is most certainly nothing more then a 3rd liner.
And Moore is a 6/7 dman.
I mean if we are going by those standards.
RIght now, on a good team, those are all they have to be. Not sure why we have to leap and make Dorsett a 3rd liner. Hes an energy player. Would love for him and Boyle to be on the 4th line.
