Throw it on the bulletin board all you want. The stars are too lazy to read it and the plugs can’t.

They'd just be wasting their time. I agree.

For a guy who had a lot of problems with rabid Canucks fans attacking his family on his social media page, I don't think this is a wise choice. I saw some Leaf fan tweeting a rant to Dubas' grandma the other day.

This is more of an indictment of Toronto's fans than the players. And I agree with Marchessault here. The Toronto fans are the problem.

There's nothing particularly wrong with Toronto having championship aspirations, a handful of markets usually do year after year, and they all talk about the possibility of making a run. There's also nothing particularly unusual about Toronto falling short of championship aspirations as there's only one cup winner every year, and last I checked Marchessault and his team falls into that category.

Finally, that Montreal media would want to talk to a Vegas based player about Toronto, well, that's not really a Toronto problem either.

It is pretty common knowledge that the Leafs problem isn't that they don't win the cup. It's that they can't win a single round of playoff hockey over the span of decades against largely lower seeded teams.
