Clicks/ lots of assetsDo we even know why Marchenko is not willing to re-sign/extend in Columbus? Has he mentioned any preferred destinations?
Curious why a lot of folks think that Montreal is the prime candidate for a trade?
We'll just bubble wrap and duct tape him to the seat, he'll be fine *crosses fingers*that bus trip could injure him![]()

In order: nobody knows, no he has not, and Montreal has a large and thirsty fanbase.Do we even know why Marchenko is not willing to re-sign/extend in Columbus? Has he mentioned any preferred destinations?

Liar....f*** Emile from Verdun lol

Because there was a rumour that the habs were interested and made an offer around the draft or a little after. So you know how the rest goes, habs fans keeps thinking the habs are first on the list if he is traded.Do we even know why Marchenko is not willing to re-sign/extend in Columbus? Marchenko was drafted before any of that. Why do Russian players like Chinakhov and Marchenko keep requesting out of Columbus ? Bobrovsky and Panarin walked after that playoff victory over Tampa some years ago. I would have guessed they would stop drafting Russians and maybe that is why they passed on Demidov.
I don't think Tampa could realistically do anything to get him, they wont trade Guentzel, Hagel, Cirelli. Kucherov is too old for Columbus to want. And they aren't interested in prospects. What would it take from Tampa?
Columbus is not very attractive to players and has a small Russian population. Why do Russian players like Chinakhov and Marchenko keep requesting out of Columbus ?
