It didn’t matter who they had out there. 4 on 3 in OT was going to be an L for us.You just can't have Johnson on the ice there. Just can't.
But, if you don't score it doesn't matter. Too many high end forwards were absolutely invisible.
The worst thing is they didn’t play that bad in any of those games; just insanely bad luck1 goal in 12 periods
Jody called tonight a gutsy effort. Losing all 4 games in a home stand while scoring 1 goal is f***ing pathetic and embarrassing
Talk about reaching to criticizeWhat was Marchenko thinking? Nothing was going to happen with knocking it out of the air
Thanks Elvis
I mean the team forgot how to score over the last week and gave up a late penalty to force a PK in overtime but let's play blame the goalie for this loss.Elvis got it to OT
Yes, I've felt in recent games they need to check their sticks because we miss the net completely WAY too much. I sat low for the NJ game and so many shots never even had a chance of going in because they were so far off target.Actually this was another game where the Jackets controlled enough of the play to win but just didn’t put the puck in the net. One of the problems is shooting but missing the net way too much.
And constantly turning the puck over. We love to just throw it blindly into the slot, right into a defender's stick.Actually this was another game where the Jackets controlled enough of the play to win but just didn’t put the puck in the net. One of the problems is shooting but missing the net way too much.
I don't disagree. Hard to do that tonight though when we throw Provorov & JJ out there.Just a casual observation, but the way we play our PK is the opposite of the way most teams play us. Other teams attack and pressure us and it usually pays off for them with deflected or errant passes sent down the ice. The CBJ on the other seem to hunker down close to the goalie and let the other team pass the puck without any pressure and they seem to get higher quality shots against us. I could be wrong, but that's the way it seems.
