GDT: March Madness Edition | FLA @ CBJ | 7 PM EST

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.

Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

In the meantime, feel free to join our Discord Server
This team bottling this playoff push will be studied. Insane how they cant score goals, truly hard to comprehend.

You just can't have Johnson on the ice there. Just can't.

But, if you don't score it doesn't matter. Too many high end forwards were absolutely invisible.

1 goal in 12 periods

Jody called tonight a gutsy effort. Losing all 4 games in a home stand while scoring 1 goal is f***ing pathetic and embarrassing
The worst thing is they didn’t play that bad in any of those games; just insanely bad luck

Just a casual observation, but the way we play our PK is the opposite of the way most teams play us. Other teams attack and pressure us and it usually pays off for them with deflected or errant passes sent down the ice. The CBJ on the other seem to hunker down close to the goalie and let the other team pass the puck without any pressure and they seem to get higher quality shots against us. I could be wrong, but that's the way it seems.

Actually this was another game where the Jackets controlled enough of the play to win but just didn’t put the puck in the net. One of the problems is shooting but missing the net way too much.

Yes, I've felt in recent games they need to check their sticks because we miss the net completely WAY too much. I sat low for the NJ game and so many shots never even had a chance of going in because they were so far off target.

To make matters worse for the few believers out there, Montreal and isles are going to OT, so this point is washed out at the very best, and at the very worst we lose more ground.

Isles win. We fall behind them and our point is cancelled out

And constantly turning the puck over. We love to just throw it blindly into the slot, right into a defender's stick.

I don't disagree. Hard to do that tonight though when we throw Provorov & JJ out there.
