Sudbury Wolves 2024-25 Season Thread, Part IV

  • We sincerely apologize for the extended downtime. Our hosting provider, XenForo Cloud, encountered a major issue with their backup system, which unfortunately resulted in the loss of some critical data from the past year.

    What This Means for You:

    • If you created an account after March 2024, it no longer exists. You will need to sign up again to access the forum.
    • If you registered before March 2024 but changed your email, username, or password in the past year, those changes were lost. You’ll need to update your account details manually once you're logged in.
    • Threads and posts created within the last year have been restored.
    • Our 2025 light and dark themes were lost, so we are rebuilding them. Light theme is currently available, but work in progress

    Our team is working with Xenforo Cloud to recover data using backups, sitemaps, and other available resources. We know this is frustrating, and we deeply regret the impact on our community. We are taking steps with Xenforo Cloud to ensure this never happens again. This is work in progress. Thank you for your patience and support as we work through this.

Sad thing is they have the answer already, Mercer and Coop. Have Bowan full time radio.

So we can have one or the other but not both? What would everyone choose?

The medical staff thought it could have been a separated shoulder but it wasn’t even close. Musty may be available for game 1 of the playoffs

You’d have Owen Protz for both this season and next. HORRIBLE trade especially with the 4 2nds and 3 3rds which usually turn out to be pretty good players. Not RP’s finest trade there, that’s for sure.

Mix that with not trading musty and trading for a 18 year old d man who won’t be back next year (big premium on potential 2 year deals and it’ll only be the 1) and that sounds like grounds for firing.

Yeah, well according to Dario, they both will be but that’s probably the case. Heard from Musty himself he plans on being back so I would say more likely than not, but we’ll see how the shoulder holds up. Anybody know whatever happened to Clayton? Anyway watching the team without Musty, Delic or Villeneuve is not worth the price of admission.

It’s not already settled is it? Oshawa can still tie Kingston, but I guess Kingston would get 3rd it in that event? What is it head to head matchups?
 
Hoping if he does come back he won’t be a target, Street has to step up if that is the case, only reason I can see why he is still here. They have to play tough disciplined hockey and stay out of the box. Must come away with a split in Kingston to gain momentum I would think.

This team has 0 chemistry, get the healthy players into the lineup and try to find chemistry/momentum before the playoffs start. Having a bunch of players go in cold after sitting in the stands and resting for the better part of 2 weeks does not seem like a great idea.

I’d be inclined to agree if we went already short. Nothing game.
