I would have to say our defense in total is right behind the Blues and Blackhawks, with ours being equal to LA.

Yeah, I think the Blues have a slightly better defensive core than we do, but we're still right there in the top 3, no less than top 5.

We don't have the puck moving, PP QB talent of some other teams. That said, I like our D right now. Lots of shut down capability in front of a solid goalie.

That's a good start.

If we get a few more goals from Mac, Staal, Strals and Moore moving into the playoffs, we would be in a very nice place.
