Don't think he will resign and we might as well get something for Kovalchuk before losing him for nothing.
Sure, if that something is at least top 60 pick, I'm on board.
If not, I'd rather see him on Suzuki's wing building confidence and helping his offense. I'm not convinced a third round pick in the hands of Timmins, in this draft, has any worth at all.
I think the only convincing argument one could make is how keeping him could impact draft position.
