Seems to me that Guerin is flailing, and doing random, ill considered moves to make up for the mistakes that he has locked the team into.

It appears Khusnutdinov is off to a fast(?) start in Boston. He put up 7.5% of his season total in hits last game (3). Since, and including, January 15th he had only had 2 hits. Obviously hits aren't a big part of his game, but he had 35 hits in the 41 games before that date, so it's a notable decrease.
He still didn't get any shots on net, which sadly is also not a big part of his game. He's had 3 shots in his last 9 games, now, which is 116:50 minutes of ice time.

I'm sure I'll be keeping my eye on how he does for Boston. He's playing 3rd line LW with Lauko and Lindholm as his linemates. A funny little oddity was Lettieri played 2nd line RW for them ahead of Lauko. Their depth is real rough right now so these guys may get some decent ice time.

"Not a big part of his game" might be too flattering way to describe his shot frequency.

Currently Marat has the least shots in the league out of all forwards with 50+ GP (or 3rd least out of all skaters)
