I think it'll be the old logo. I love the 70s jerseys so I'm happy. Not sure how it's "reverse" retro based on the teasers though. Maybe they actually did alter the logo in some way but I'm not sure how.

I don't know how to post pictures but I'll try. Over the years I've seen some cool designs

Bunch of teams using old logos in this line of gimmicks.

The current logo is basically a remastered version of the logo we used from the late 30s to 60s.

Yeah they look sharp, even if there knock offs of the Canada Jersey. I don't see the big deal if we used it, like didn't Tampa Bay steal our colour scheme anyway

Can we CTRL+Z that logo? I was hoping for that colour scheme but would rather the logo they used the year after. Or at least make it smaller. It looks out of place being that big, but maybe looks better with gear on.

Exactly! I’m not sure if hockey Canada holds the rights to the jersey/logo combo but I’d really like to see that. Maybe one day haha.

That logo is a joke. It's actually rather impressive that they managed to f*** this up, given how simple our design and colour palette is. Probably the worst jersey we've ever had.

When is the last time the leafs had an awesome alternate jersey? Like they could have had an awesome one but they made the logo blue instead of white, made the logo massive, and the numbers are also blue instead of white. Like why?

Yeah, if it was all white instead of grey, with a much smaller white logo, it would have been top 5 IMO and an instant purchase. Really disappointing.

That said, the St. Pats jerseys were great and I was a fan of the Arenas and 2014 WC jerseys.

From a product design and marketing point of view the NHL should probably consider that if you want to make a successful cash grab appeal to the public, design something aesthetically pleasing with emotional or nostalgic resonance for a fan base with over 100 years of fashion to choose from. What are the chances you’ll have a lot of people buying a jersey that looks way worse than the standard uniform in an economic downtown and global pandemic?

Totally agree. I was prepared to order one as soon as possible but no longer. Our home/away set is probably top 5 in the league (you can argue placement, maybe top 10?) and the St. Pats jerseys are great, but these are just bad. Highly doubt you see many of these at the arena when fans are back in the building.

Those white jerseys are the nicest white jerseys the Leafs have ever released. They were just one of the worst ideas I've ever seen.

These jerseys are close as hell to the top picture though.
